History of a cuisine
The
first generation of our cuisine, the grandmother Maria was born in Bordils,
Gerona in 1901, a few years later the grandmother came to Barcelona and with
her cuisine "ampurdanesa" opened her first restaurant Can Estevet
in 1948. Ten years later, the second generation, her children continued the
work of his mother at the head of the restaurant Can Juanito. El pa torrat opened
in 1981, one restaurant where, spent one century, the third generation is still
cooking.
